Contracted Insurances and New Patients
Hudson’s Bay Medical Group is contracted with almost all insurance providers except Access Blue Card or insurances that are not contracted in this area. At this time we are not accepting new Medicaid patients unless they are referred to our GI physicians from their primary care physicians.
Insurance Information
Please bring your insurance card(s) when you come in for your appointment. If your card is not available bring any documentation such as Insurance name, member #, group #, and insurance address so that we can bill your insurance company. If insurance information is not provided at time of service payment in full is required or arrangements need to be made with the business office.
Secondary Insurance
We gladly bill all contracted secondary insurance if the information is provided.
Copays
Copays are due at time of service per most insurance company rules and our company policy.
Medicare
All physicians of Hudson’s Bay Medical Group are participating Medicare providers. This means that we will bill Medicare directly and agree to charge no more than the Medicare allowable for a given service.
If the service you receive is covered by Medicare they will pay 80% of those charges after your $100 annual deductible, leaving you a balance of 20%.
Medicare Supplemental Insurance
If Medicare does not bill your second insurance we will gladly bill it for you if the insurance information is provided to us.
Medicare Labs
Labs covered by Medicare are paid at 100%. If there are labs that the physicians feel are necessary but we expect Medicare will not pay, we will have you sign an Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN). The ABN will show the dates, labs being done and ask you to make a choice about whether you want to have these tests done.
